About the Author

Rob La Eace was born and raised in San Francisco, where he still resides. Shortly after graduating from St. Ignatius High School, he began his career in Emergency Services where he worked as an EMT and Paramedic before becoming a Firefighter in the San Francisco Fire Department in 1995. Rob is now an Investigator with the SFFD Arson Task Force. Always interested in being challenged, he started an additional career in real estate in 2004, wherein he continues to work as a licensed broker, selling San Francisco properties while maintaining his position in the SFFD.

At a young age, La Eace had a proclivity for writing prose as well as poetry. He found a great satisfaction in expressing himself in print. His writing skills first caught the attention of the editor of The Registry, a real estate publication, for which he was a monthly contributing columnist.

Punkin the Crabbit represents Rob’s leap into the realm of children’s books. It is with great pride and the smiling memory of his wonderful feline companion, Punkin, that he presents this work.
